Praful Kumar

Ayurvet, India

Praful Kumar gained his BVSc and AH and MBA (Marketing) from Mumbai University, India and his IIMA from Ahmadabad, India. Today, Dr Kumar is responsible for International Business at Ayurvet Ltd. He is responsible for techno-commercial activities for the company and exports solutions to more than 23 countries. He is also working as Vice-President for Ayurfarm, which is a joint venture of Ayurvet in Poland for exports to EU countries.

Arturo Pinon

Animine, France

Arturo Pinon obtained a Mexican Veterinary degree in 1995 and complemented his instruction in France receiving official authorization for conducting veterinary research with live animals in 2002. R&D Director of Animine, he is leading research on high quality inorganic zinc and copper sources for animal nutrition. He started his career in 2003 at DSM developing feed additives, joined Neovia Group in 2011 evolving from scientist in swine nutrition to R&D Director for Mexican subsidiary maltaCleyton.

Alex Eggen

AEVC BV, The Netherlands

Alex Eggen graduated in 1980, and has worked for 40 years, as a veterinarian of which 5 years in practice and 28 in the pharmaceutical sector. He started AEVC providing services to the pork producing industry. Current activities of AEVC are advising pharmaceutical companies on product-market combinations and advising new entries to the Animal Health market. He is the Executive Director of the European Association of Porcine Health Management (EAPHM) and was involved in organizing the ESPHM2019 and chaired keynote sessions on African Swine Fever.

Preden de Cacqueray

Raizup Nutrition Care, Germany

Mr. Preden de Cacqueray, Nutritionist Engineer, located in France. Technical and Scientific Manager for Raizup Nutrition Care, involved in nutraceuticals for livestock and companion animals. He started as a pig researcher at the French Institute for Agricultural Research, then occupied different jobs for feed companies. Raizup belongs to Le Gouessant, a major French Cooperative. Raizup develops its products in this network of farmers, close to the field.

Neil Gannon

Biomin, Australia

Dr Gannon is the Regional Product Manager – Gut Performance for Biomin, a role that sees him supporting staff and customers in the Asian region to optimise pig, poultry and ruminant productivity and profitability using phytogenic, microbial and acid solutions. Dr Gannon has been with Biomin for 8 years and prior this he had over 20 years’ experience in government and university based research and commercial animal nutrition and feed milling.

Rüdiger Kratz

Agromed Austria GmbH, Germany

Dr. Rüdiger Kratz is working at Agromed Austria as Technical Manager for product development and customer service internationally. After earning his doctorate at the former Federal Research Centre for Agriculture (FAL) in Braunschweig he worked in the German feed industry as product development manager on feed optimization and formulation, customer and sales team training. In the last 15 years Dr. Krat has focused on gut health management cross-species to improve animal welfare and performance.

Mathieu Cortyl

Tonisity International, Ireland

Mathieu Cortyl brings with him 28 years of experience in the feed and feed additives industry in Europe & Asia-Pacific, having worked in swine, poultry and dairy in different technical and commercial roles. Since 2017, Mathieu is the Managing Director for Europe and Asia-Pacific at Tonisity International. He oversees the distribution network and business development in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Jeru Abelilla

DSM Nutritional Products, Singapore

Jeru Abelilla graduated with a degree in agriculture from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños. She went on to obtain her Masters and PhD in Philosophy in Animal Sciences, Swine Nutrition. Her career started with Newgen Marketing where she was Technical Manager before becoming Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois. In 2018, Jeru joined DSM Nutritional Products, Singapore as the Regional Technical Manager, Swine.

Angela Riemensperger

Addiseo, Singapore

Dr. Riemensperger did her bachelor degree in livestock and meat management at the University of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf in Bavaria, followed by a PhD degree at Teagasc Moorepark in Fermoy Ireland in collaboration with University College Dublin, to study post-weaning feeding strategies and amino acid requirements in growing finishing pigs. Then she worked for different companies as Technical Manager for acidifiers, enzymes and probiotics, before joining the palatability team at Adisseo.

José A. Oroz

Novation, Spain

Jose A. Oroz graduated from Complutense University of Madrid with specialization in the field of animal husbandry and food hygiene. In 2009 he started working with Spanish government on international projects to develop animal industry. In 2013 he joined the private sector with Zix company as technical manager for Asian market, focusing on feed additives and chemical ingredients for poultry and swine. From 2019, he collaborates with Novation company as Asia Manager for feed additives units.

Andreas Lewke

Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition (Thailand) Co Ltd, Thailand

Andreas Lewke has been at Dr. Eckel since 2011. Initially Director Asia and head of the Dr. Eckel representative office in Bangkok, Thailand, he became Managing Director of Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition (Thailand) Co., Ltd. subsidiary in 2017. He is responsible for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and China. Among other things, he develops relationships with sales partners and familiarises customers with Dr. Eckel’s innovative business concepts through seminars, training courses and conferences.

Viviána Molnár-Nagy

Dr. Bata Ltd, Hungary

Viviána has a Master’s degree in Biotechnological Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE). She obtained her PhD at BUTE in Chemical Sciences in 2009. She has been the head of the Research and Development Department at Dr. Bata Ltd since 2014, where she is focusing on diseases related to the fattening period of pigs from a microbiologist’s and chemist’s point of view.

Joséphine Verhaeghe

CID Lines, Belgium

Joséphine completed her D.V.M. in 2005 at ENVT (Ecole nationale Vétérinaire de Toulouse, France) After 2 years of vet practice in North of France, she now leads the training and technical support team at CID LINES. Based in Belgium, in partnership with the University of Gent, she’s developing trainings to spread the good hygiene practices in the livestock industry.

Emili Raimon Barba Vida

HIPRA, Spain

Emili has a degree in veterinary medicine and PhD in animal production from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and postdoc experience in the University of Saskatchewan (Canada). His research is focused on the development of applied immune-stimulating and nutritional strategies to increase gut health and reduce antibiotic use post-weaning. Emili is now a HIPRA Corporate Product Manager responsible for leading products on the prevention of postweaning colibacillosis and edems disease.

Brecht Bruneel

Orffa Additives BV, Belgium

After graduating as master in biochemistry and biotechnology I joined Orffa as a central technical manager. Responsibilities include: Managing technical dossiers, perform market analyses and support key customers regarding Orffa Top Select and Excential products. Focus on trace mineral research (L-selenomethionine & hydroxy trace minerals) and fat digestibility (nutritional emulsifiers).

Saharuetai Jeamsripong

Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Dr. Saharuetai Jeamsripong is a faculty member of the Department of Veterinary Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary of Science, Chulalongkorn University. She has worked in the fields of microbial food safety, molecular epidemiology, and veterinary public health over past ten years. She is also actively involved in monitoring and surveillance of antimicrobial resistance associated with food animals, aquatic animals and their products and the environment.

Wei Lun Ng

IDEXX, Singapore

Wei Lun graduated from the National University of Singapore with a first class honours degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In 2009, Wei Lun joined Hyflux Limited, focusing on distribution of the company’s proprietary membrane products and systems, after which, he joined Pan Asian Holdings Limited. Wei Lun is currently the sales manager of IDEXX Laboratories Singapore Pte Ltd. He is responsible for the company’s business in the water microbiology testing market, covering Southeast Asia and South Asia countries.

Ricardo Munoz Saba

Neogen Corporation, USA

Ricardo Munoz graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of La Salle, Bogota, Colombia in 1990, followed by an MSc in animal production from the National University of Mexico in 1994. Ricardo began work as Poultry Technical Advisor at Intervet International, followed by Product Technical Manager at Fort Dodge Animal Health, and Global Technical-Marketing Manager at IDEXX. From 2008 he was a Professional Service Veterinarian Senior Manager at Lifetechnologies in Austin, TX and from 2012 the Swine Franchise Director – Asia Pacific for Ceva Animal Health in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since September 2014 Ricardo has been Director of Professional Technical Services for Neogen – Animal Safety in Lexington, KY, USA.

Alex Wu

Kemin Industries (Asia), Singapore

Alex Wu obtained his BSc and MSc in animal science and nutrition from the Nanjing Agricultural University in China and his PhD in Poultry nutrition from the University of New England, Australia. He is currently the regional product manager for enzyme and butyrate products of Kemin Industries (Asia) Pte Ltd. His current interests include monogastric animal nutrient metabolism, net energy and heat increment, gut health and digestion dynamics etc. He has published more than 20 papers in peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings.

Victor Yamo

World Animal Protection, UK

Victor is a University of Nairobi trained Veterinary Surgeon with over 25 years experience in Veterinary Services, Livestock Production systems and Agribusiness. He is currently the Animals in Farming, Campaign Manager at World Animal Protection – Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Victor has been actively engaging the livestock industry, governments, corporate entities, technical personnel, consumers in showing them the connection between the welfare of animals, their productivity and the quality of food they produce.

Torben Liermann

Provita Supplements GmbH, Germany

Torben Liermann is the Global Technical Director of Provita Supplements based in Germany. From 2008 until now he has held several positions in Research & Development, animal nutrition, product management and feed safety. In his current position he is responsible for product and business development at Provita Supplements corporate level. Torben is currently leading the work on implementing innovative feed ingredients into the field of sustainable animal feeds.

Yoann Perrault

Phileo-Lesaffre, Vietnam

Yoann Perrault received his Master and Bachelor of Science in the École Supérieure d'Agriculture d'Angers (ESA), before graduating from the Institute of Technology, specialising in the areas of Agronomy and Animal Production. He has been working as a swine technical support manager for Lessaffre Feed Additives since January 2013 and is currently in charge of the Vietnam and Cambodia market. His experience of pig production began during his childhood in France, and developed further in the five years he worked as a technical sales manager for feed mills in Brittany.

Keat Fu

Aviagen, Thailand

Keat Fu graduated from the University Putra, Malaysia as a DMV (UPM) in 2000 and M.S. (KU, Korea) in 2018. He gained his diploma from America College of Poultry Veterinarian in 2016, USA and Fellowship of Malaysian college of Veterinary specialist in 2018. He entered the poultry industry and has currently over 19 years’ experience. He joined Aviagen in 2009 as a Technical Service Manager in Asia and joined the Aviagen Global Veterinarian Team in 2013. He currently Regional Technical Service Veterinarian for Asia.
